You can expect a career full of brilliant possibilities. \nHow You’ll Make An Impact\nAs Vehicle Test Engineer, you will lead the conceptualization, design, implementation and testing of technologies, tools, or processes while consistently demonstrating technical expertise and ingenuity. You are able to plan, define, and execute projects without supervision.\nThis role will be part of a group of Test Domain Architects working closely with the broader team and the Global Strategy and Process Lead. The mission of this team is to grow our Connectivity Test Coordination team operating from our strategic sites providing experienced and dynamic team members to support multiple roles across our portfolio of global projects.\nWhat You Will Do\nResponsible to coordinate and perform the vehicle testing activities at customer place.\nCoordinate from various team hardware, mechanical, software, device, compatibility, cloud/backend and mobile apps.\nResponsible for vehicle test at customer location and support for customer activities\nGood communication with customer and Harman colleagues at multiple locations\nExperience in TEST AUTOMATION is added advantage, especially on Python.\nHands-on expertise with Robot Framework.\nExperience with REST APIs, Git, Linux, Jenkins, DevOps, AWS Cloud Services and CI/CD.\nResponsible for Sanity Test, System Test, End-to-End feature test, OTA test, compatibility test and device functionality tests for various customers and projects. Ensure tests are completed and publish the report timely\nParticipate in analysis of logs for any issues reported during testing.\nVehicle level integration test with various system level ECUs\nSupport Full System test of the device FW before every factory or maintenance release that includes KPI, Performance, security, power management, state management based on ignition states, GPS, sensor and various functionalities. Ensure tests are completed and publish the report.\nSupporting vehicle compatibility testing - tracking, execution and reporting.\nTest support and live debugging support for development of new features or Change requests.\nExperience with CANoe, PCAN - CAN simulation tools\nExperience with Telematics, Automotive based products testing and Qualification.\nStrong knowledge on SOFTWARE Testing concepts\nConnect with various stakeholders of the product for any clarification on the requirements/Expectations from device, cloud, app and web portal.\nUnderstanding the client functional/Non-Functional requirements, high level design documents provided by client\nWhat Makes You A Strong Fit\nBachelor’s degree in engineering or other similar specialization \nAt least 5+ year of experience as a Test Engineer in Automotive especially on telematics domain\nExperience with Bench and Vehicle level tests\nGood understanding of Telematics requirements, Embedded System and Automotive Products\nExperience with Software Testing (white box/grey box) and System Testing (black box)\nExperience with CAN simulation tools, Telematics feature testing like Ethernet, MQTT, UDS, OTA, GNSS, E-Call, Positioning, 4G/5G, Wifi, V2X and Security\nEnd to end test with other system level ECUs\nExperience in API test\nExperience with data analysis, logs, tracing, Vehicle Integration test\nGood English communication skills both written and verbal.
