You will work on our internal data infrastructure and operational workflows, developing high-impact tools that support teams across the company.\nThis is a versatile role combining strong software engineering expertise with a deep understanding of user needs. As a member of the Tooling module, you will be responsible for the architecture, development, and deployment of tools that become essential to Harmattan's core operational workflows: AI-powered internal agents, workflow automation, internal data visualisation tools, wrappers, integrations, and lightweight backend services.\nResponsibilities\nInternal Tooling & Automation\nDesign and develop internal tools and AI/LLM-based agents used across teams.\n\nBuild dashboards, visualisation tools, and workflow automations that accelerate day-to-day operations at Harmattan AI.\n\nOperational Process Optimisation\nStreamline key operational processes through tailored tools, connectors, and integrations with internal systems.\n\nWork closely with teams to identify bottlenecks, iterate quickly, and deliver high-leverage solutions.\n\nBackend & Infrastructure\nDesign and maintain lightweight backend services powering internal tools (APIs, data storage, metrics, logging).\n\nContribute to cloud deployment and integration with CI/CD pipelines and data flows.\n\nQuality & Reliability\nEstablish standards for code quality, testing, observability, and documentation.\n\nEnsure internal tools are robust, monitored, and evolve in line with operational needs.\n\nCandidate Requirements:\nMaster's (MSc) or Bachelor's (BSc) degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.\n\nStrong software engineering experience with Python.\n\nHands-on experience developing internal tools, workflow automations, or AI/LLM-based utilities.\n\nWorking knowledge of cloud platforms (GCP or AWS).\n\nSolid understanding of CI/CD practices and internal software delivery processes.\n\nCommunication & influence\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills in English.\n\nAbility to engage with a wide range of profiles, from junior contributors to senior executives.\n\nComfortable collaborating
