Candidates will learn and build on experience using advanced C++ and python technologies, containerized solutions (Docker and k8s), Embedded Systems and various networking environments developed to operate within Linux servers using cutting-edge technologies and techniques.\nAs part of the role, you will be involved in the following areas:\nC/C++ and/or python code development of OLT device programming, ONU management & control, and state-of-the-art system orchestration capabilities as part of our R&D team\nInvestigations and debug of complex issues both from Harmonic QA and Customer Networks\nPlan, design, implement, and test within an agile development framework\nWhat you should have:\nB.Sc. in computer science / software engineering / electrical engineering\n3-5 years’ experience in Software Application development of one or more of the following: IEEE (xEPON), ITU-T (xGPON) PON, G.984.4/G.988 OMCI, DPoE®/IEEE 1904.1 SIEPON or related OAM\nPractical knowledge of DPoE and/or TR-156/200\nExperience with BBF CCO and OB-BAA, ONF CORD, SEBA, and vOLT-ha - advantage\nDevelopment within Linux Embedded environment\nC/C++ Programming. Python - advantage\nExperience in Networking, Multi-threading, OOD and Design patterns.\nDOCSIS / DPDK knowledge - advantage\nHigh level of interpersonal skills.
