About the Team
The Growth team owns the Harmonic brand, product narrative, and marketing across all channels, inbound and outbound. The unit reports directly to the CEO and is the driving force behind us winning new multi-billion $ market segments.
Our job is to make Harmonic synonymous with startups. We help prospects and customers understand how to find and connect with the best ones, and get them excited about trying the platform.
We built our foundation serving the world’s best VCs. Now we’re going after corporates (a $100B+ industry), where innovation is a crucial board-level mandate. Most corporates see startups as the answer, whether it’s buying from them, partnering, hiring, investing, or acquiring…and they’re all on Harmonic.
What You'll Do
You will own our activation programs end-to-end, including:
Bringing more of the right customers to Harmonic, starting with how they hear about us
Experimenting and launching new campaigns across every channel, from paid and ABM to events, partnerships, and whatever works next
Running and evaluating which campaigns are working, and building them into programs that scale
Building and managing the media plan and budget, and moving quickly to put resources behind what's working and killing what’s not
Who You Are
5-8 years in B2B demand generation or growth marketing at a fast growing company
Fluent across the whole marketing function. You know demand only works when positioning, brand, and sales are pulling in the same direction
You have a track record of driving top-of-funnel at scale (i.e., create 100s of qualified demos monthly)
You understand funnel metrics and attribution, but you don’t treat them as a crutch that relieves you from exercising judgment based on your intuition, experience, or logic
You care about the leverage of your actions and have a disdain for pretentious busywork
You follow startups the way some people follow sports
