Learn more at www.harmonicinc.com.\nRole Description:\nWe are looking for a SW QA Engineer\nYou will report to the Director of System Integration & QA, Broadband business unit.\nLocation:\nHybrid role - working at least 3 days a week from our office in Bangalore.\nWhat you will be doing:\nTest multidisciplinary Embedded Systems (SW/HW).\n\nResponsibility for features’ testing starting from integration till end-to-end functional testing.\n\nDefine clear test plans that cover all use cases and scenarios.\n\nExecute testing to verify functional behavior of the products and to ensure their quality in an Agile environment.\n\nWork in scrum team in agile mode.\n\nExecute automatic tests using existing framework and analyze the results.\n\nProvide requirements for automatic tests.\n\nWhat you will need to succeed:\n2-3 years of experience in manual testing of an Embedded System (HW/SW)\n\nExperience in QA methodologies\n\nLinux knowledge\n\nB.Sc. in Computer Science or a similar field, or an equivalent experience\n\nNetworking knowledge (Layer 3) - advantage\n\nKnowledge of RF testing equipment, traffic generators, network sniffer - advantage\n\nPython or other scripting knowledge, experience in test scripts execution - advantage\n\nDOCSIS / PON (Passive Optical Network) knowledge - advantage\n\nAgile working methods - advantage\n\nDiversity, Equality, and Inclusion at Harmonic:\nAt Harmonic, we believe that building and nurturing a global team with diverse backgrounds and voices is critical to our success.
