Our goal is to build a world where every resident can sleep safely at night, knowing their home is 100% safe.\nWe are looking for a Height Safety Service Engineer to join our Service team, carrying out planned and reactive inspections, maintenance, and certification of height safety systems across our client portfolio. You will be the person our clients trust on site - technically sharp, reliable, and committed to getting every job done safely and to the highest standard.\nThis is a hands-on, field-based role. If you take pride in your work, hold yourself to a high standard, and want to be part of a business genuinely committed to saving lives - read on.\nKey Responsibilities\n Carry out planned and reactive inspections, maintenance, and servicing of height safety systems including horizontal lifelines, anchor points, fall arrest equipment, and rope access systems. \nProduce accurate inspection reports, certification documentation, and service records following every visit. \nIdentify defects and remedial requirements, communicating findings clearly to clients and the service admin team. \nCarry out minor remedial works and component replacements as required. \nEnsure all works are delivered in line with relevant standards, RAMS, and Harmony’s health and safety requirements. \nMaintain your van stock, equipment, and PPE to the required standard at all times. \nComplete all job management system entries accurately and on time.\nLiaise with clients professionally on site, representing Harmony’s brand with confidence. \nParticipate in the out-of-hours emergency callout rota as required. \nSkills, Knowledge & Expertise\n An A-player mindset - high standards, extreme ownership and the drive to do things properly, the first time. \nProven hands-on experience with height safety systems including horizontal lifelines, anchor points, and fall arrest equipment. \nRelevant height safety qualifications such as IRATA, IPAF, or equivalent. \nPASMA and working at height certification. \nAble to work independently and manage your own diary to meet scheduled appointments. \nStrong attention to detail - accurate, thorough, and consistent in documentation and reporting. \nGood communication skills - comfortable dealing with clients on site. \nFull UK driving licence. \nJob Benefits\nThis is a chance to build your career at one of the UK’s fastest-growing height and fire safety specialists - working on a varied portfolio of sites with the tools, training, and support to do the job properly.
