# Pre-Construction Manager

The Pre-Construction Manager (PCM) is the engine of the pod. Where the Pre-Construction Director owns the regional business unit, the PCM owns the projects, end-to-end, from the moment an opportunity is allocated through to a complete, quality handover into delivery. This is not a coordination role. The PCM is the primary client contact on their projects, the commercial owner within their delegated authority, and the person accountable for the quality and completeness of everything that leaves pre-construction. The buck stops with the PCM on their projects - and they escalate to the PCD with a recommendation, not a problem. The PCM operates in a modern pre-construction environment.
