The successful candidate will take charge of all facets of water/wastewater service; troubleshooting and repairing existing equipment as well as overseeing installation and start-up of new systems. Hands-on training available.\nMinor welding or fabrication as needed.\nCoordinate work with plant operators; provide clear status updates and mentor junior technicians.\nEnsure compliance with OSHA and confined-space safety protocols; complete service reports and daily logs.\nOperate a company-owned mechanic’s truck (with crane) throughout the tri-state region; obtain/maintain DOT medical card.\nParticipate in an on-call rotation for emergency response.\nQualifications\nRequired Skills, Education, and Experience\n5+ years hands-on service experience in the water/wastewater industry, combining heavy mechanical work with practical electrical troubleshooting\nMust be comfortable working in and around wastewater environments\nBasic mechanical knowledge\nAble to lift and/or move up to 75 pounds\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills\nEffective verbal and written communication skills\nEfficiency, accuracy, and responsibility\nPreferred Skills, Education, and Experience\n3 years related experience\nMaintenance experience\nExperience in Wastewater services, heavy civil construction, or other heavy industryCertificationsOSHA 40-hour\nConfined Space Entry\nCPR & First-Aid\n\nTechnical Skill SetSolid working knowledge of pump station and treatment-plant processes and flows;
