We offer a comprehensive benefit package as well as other additional “Perks”!\nHarris Computer Systems is seeking an Accounts Payable (AP) Clerk;\nLearning and working with an experienced Controller.\n\nEnhancing your Accounting and Finance skills.\n\nHands on experience with the full scope of Accounts Payable tasks and responsibilities.\n\nWhat your impact will be:\nResponsible for the timely and accurate processing of Accounts Payable and Expense Transactions.\n\nResponsible for safeguarding corporate assets by ensuring all claims are mathematically correct and include the appropriate approvals for all levels of expenditures.\n\nRespond to supplier and employee enquiries politely and in a timely manner.\n\nProcess various Expenses, Invoices, and Remittances.\n\nOwnership of GST/HST and Provincial/State taxes returns and remittances.\n\nMaintaining proper files of supplier invoices and expense reports.\n\nAssist with document shipping as required.\n\nProviding support to the Finance team and business unit leadership\n\nWhat we are looking for:\nPost-secondary education with a focus on business/accounting or 2+ years of relevant work experience\n\nProficiency in Microsoft applications (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook)\n\nExperience with Great Plains; or similar accounting software, Sage500, Simply Accounting, Sage Accpac would be considered an asset\n\nAbility to manage multiple priorities\n\nExcellent communication skills, both oral and written\n\nAbility to work in a team environment\n\nStrong attention to detail and accuracy\n\nCompensation details\nThe potential salary range for this role is $40,000 to $45,000 per year, with eligibility for bonus or merit program. Final compensation will be based on experience, skills, market conditions, and internal equity.
