Your work will focus on helping translate business needs into clear system configurations and documentation that support accurate billing, compliance, and reliable system performance.\nEssential Functions / Major Job Responsibilities:\nAnalyze and document business, operational, financial, and revenue cycle workflows to support day-to-day operations.\nPartner with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate business needs into clear, actionable functional requirements and user stories.\nSupport configuration, administration, and day-to-day operation of business applications.\nAssist with issue triage, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis across supported systems.\nIdentify process gaps, data issues, and system inefficiencies and recommend improvement opportunities.\nDevelop, run, and validate operational and financial reports using SQL and other reporting tools.\nSupport business intelligence efforts by assisting with dashboards, KPIs, standard reports, and ad-hoc analysis.\nPerform data validation, reconciliation, and routine operational and financial analysis to ensure accuracy and reliability.\nCollaborate with Finance, Revenue Cycle, HR, Operations, IT teams, and external vendors on system updates, upgrades, and go-live activities.\nMaintain documentation related to processes, configurations, and system changes.\nSupport compliance and audit requirements through accurate documentation and data validation.\nJob Requirements:\nEducation:\nPreferred: Bachelor’s Degree; Business, Healthcare Administration, Finance, Health Informatics, or a related field.\nWork Experience:\n Preferred: 0-2 years of relevant work experience.\nKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities:\nBasic knowledge of Altera Solutions, and the healthcare industry.\nFamiliarity with Microsoft technologies and third-party technical solutions (databases, SQL, networking, security, reporting, interfaces).\nExperience writing business requirements, user stories, and functional documentation.\nAbility to run and understand scripts.\nSoftware support experience with strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.\nUnderstanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) in a regulated healthcare environment.\nExperience configuring and using applications or system components.\nFoundational understanding of healthcare revenue cycle concepts (billing, claims, payments, denials).\nAbility to analyze billing data, reports, and error trends.\nStrong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and communication skills.\nWorking Arrangements:\nStandard work week, with the possibility of after-hours, on-call support, and holiday work as required.\nPrimarily works in a standard office environment.\nOn-call and after-hours work may be required during peak times, such as the end of the month, quarter, year or during applications upgrade.\nTravel:\nUp to 10% travel may be required.\nOur company complies with all local/state regulations in regard to displaying salary ranges.
