The successful applicant will be working in the Healthcare group along with a team of highly motivated individuals who are engaged in continuous improvement. This position will be based in our Ottawa, Ontario Canada headquarters or remotely.\nWHAT YOU WILL DO\nManage month-end and quarter-end close processes by working with the Finance team to meet reporting deadlines;\nPrepare monthly journal entries and account reconciliations for various accounts;\nAssist with forecasting of net revenues and operating expenses;\nCoordinate with the Finance group to ensure that intercompany transactions are recorded accurately;\nProviding support to the divisional EVP and VP’s as needed;\nPreparing information requests and responding to questions during quarterly reviews and the annual audit; and\nSpecial projects & ad hoc reporting as required.\nWHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR\nBachelor’s degree with specialization in accounting\nCPA or CPA student considered an asset\n2+ years of relevant experience\nWHAT WILL MAKE YOU STAND OUT\nExcellent analytical, research and problem solving skills;\nAdvanced knowledge of MS Excel;\nStrong communication, both written and oral, and strong people skills;\nAbility to meet deadlines in a rapidly changing business environment;\nAbility to work independently and balance competing demands;\nKnowledge of Great Plains is considered an asset\nCOMPENSATION DETAILS\nThe potential salary range for this role is $48,000 to $55,000 per year, with eligibility for bonus or merit program. Final compensation will be based on experience, skills, market conditions, and internal equity.
