This is a fully remote position; however, travel to client sites across the U.S. and Canada may be required.\nWhat’s Your Impact:\nDelivering software solutions that help clients improve efficiency and service delivery.\n\nStreamlining workflows to help optimize client processes and responsiveness.\n\nSupporting local governments in enhancing services for their communities.\n\nWhat You’ll Do:\nBusiness analysis: Define and document customer business requirements; interpret and apply the information within project scope.\nProcess mapping: Analyze client requirements and translate them into functional specifications aligned with CityView-defined processes.\nGap analysis: Identify gaps between client needs and out-of-the-box system capabilities.\nDiscovery: Facilitate discovery sessions to document business requirements, use cases, and pain points.\nSoftware configuration: Configure workflows, business rules, and system settings to support and streamline customer business processes. This role focuses on software configuration and business process enablement rather than software development.\nLegacy data conversion: Work with Data Conversion Specialists to achieve a smooth transition of legacy client data.\nConduct training sessions: Train end-users in how to use the software in both remote and classroom-led sessions.\nSoftware specialist: Develop expertise in CityView functionality and capabilities to support clients and identify enhancement opportunities.\nClient service: Provide exceptional customer service and support clients throughout the implementation lifecycle.\nInternal engagement: Work with cross-functional teams including Project Managers, Data Conversion Specialists, Quality Assurance, Technical Support Analysts, and other Implementation Specialists.\nA Day In The Life:\nReceive project assignments and priorities from the Project Manager.\n\nWork on assigned tasks:Engage with clients.\nGather and validate client data requirements.\n\nConfigure, test, and validate software solutions.\n\nDeliver solutions to clients.\nAction client feedback.\nProvide project status updates and maintain internal tracking systems.\n\n What We’re Looking For:\nA highly focused and accountable individual.\nAbility to manage competing priorities and work effectively in a changing environment.\n\nExperience and/or knowledge of local government business processes.\n\n5+ years of experience with software configuration, business process analysis, and/or end-user training is preferred.\nExperience identifying, defining, analyzing, and documenting client work processes, data, systems, and/or related activities.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience in business analysis.\n\nUnderstanding of licensing, permitting, or related government business processes (or equivalent).\nPost-secondary education in a technology-related discipline or equivalent work experience.\nOutstanding verbal and written communication skills in a highly professional, customer-facing environment.\n\nAbility to travel up to 15% in Canada and the US.\nWhat Makes You Stand Out:\nExperience with permitting, licensing, land management, or related government processes.\n\nAn understanding of database (installed and web-based) applications.\nExperience with MS SQL Reporting Services (or equivalent).\nWhat We Offer:\nRRSP matching program and employee stock purchase plan.\nHealth insurance from Day 1 (medical, dental, vision, life, short and long-term disability, AD&D).\n3 weeks of vacation and 5 personal days.\nWho We Are:\nCityView solves real-world business problems that local governments face in serving their constituents expeditiously.
