The role also mentors engineers and partners with development and leadership teams.\nKey Responsibilities\nDesign, own, and evolve the Kubernetes platform architecture for healthcare applications, including cluster strategy, upgrades, and multi-environment standards.\nDefine and enforce standardized deployment patterns using Helm, Kustomize, and GitOps (e.g., Argo CD or Flux).\nArchitect enterprise CI/CD pipelines with built-in security scanning, quality gates, and release governance.\nLead IaC strategy with reusable Terraform modules, configuration management, and policy-as-code.\nEstablish observability standards, SLOs/SLIs, and alerting. Lead incident response, root cause analysis, and post-incident reviews.\nDrive platform security and compliance (HIPAA, audit readiness, secrets management, RBAC, network policies, image hardening).\nOwn cloud cost governance (FinOps): rightsizing, autoscaling, reserved capacity, and cost reporting, with measurable savings.\nPlan and test disaster recovery, backup, and high availability.\nMentor engineers, conduct design and code reviews, and author technical documentation and runbooks.\nPartner with development, security, and leadership teams on the platform roadmap and technical decisions.\nRequired Skills\n5+ years in Systems Engineering, DevOps, SRE, or Platform Engineering, including 3+ years running Kubernetes in production.\nExpert-level Kubernetes administration (AKS, EKS, or OpenShift), Docker, Kustomize and Helm.\nProven experience designing CI/CD at scale with Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, or Jenkins.\nAdvanced Terraform skills (module design, state management) plus Ansible or similar tools.\nStrong scripting and automation in PowerShell, Python, or Bash.\nDeep Azure experience (networking, identity, security, cost management);
