It's a hands-on role with real exposure to multi-jurisdiction tax, ideal for someone who wants to build a career across both accounting and tax.\nWhat You Do:\nMonth-End Reconciliations & Financial Close. Execute Full-Cycle Reconciliations: Prepare balance sheet reconciliations-including bank, AR, AP, accruals, prepayments, GST, and intercompany accounts-strictly adhering to the month-end close calendar. Identify, investigate and resolve reconciling items promptly, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timely closure of outstanding issues.\n\nJournal Entries & Variance Analysis: Post accurate general ledger journals backed by thorough working papers; proactively investigate, document, and clear reconciling items.\n\nAudit & Compliance Support: Assist with external audits, mid-year reviews, and statutory compliance requests by providing timely, well-documented schedules.\n\nExpense Management & Policy Enforcement. Claims & Card Processing: Review and process employee expense claims and corporate card transactions against company policy, effectively identifying and resolving non-compliant submissions.\n\nCard Reconciliation & Documentation: Reconcile monthly corporate card statements while ensuring all GST and receipt documentation meets compliance standards.\n\nSystem administration: Responsible for day-to-day expense management system administration, including user setup, account deactivation, permission management, and general user support\n\nProcess Optimisation: Identify recurring expense policy exceptions and recommend workflow or policy improvements to streamline future processing.\n\nSupport of Tax Function. BAS & GST: Assist in preparing quarterly BAS workpapers, including GST reconciliations from the GL to the BAS labels.\n\nTax Journals: Assist with coding of Tax related journals.\n\nAd hoc tax deliverables: Prepare supporting schedules and data extracts for tax returns, provisions, advisor queries and ATO requests if and as needed.\n\nWhat You Bring:\nBachelor's degree in Commerce/Accounting\n\n1-3 years in a finance-operations role, ideally in a multi-entity or multi-currency environment\n\nWorking knowledge of a mid-market ERP/accounting system and strong Excel/Sheets (lookups, pivots, reconciliations)\n\nHigh attention to detail\n\nNice to have skills and characteristics:\nCA or CPA part-qualified\n\nExposure to SaaS\n\nExperience with a cloud ERP/accounting system\n\nHealthcare, medical device or regulated-industry experience\n\nWhy join us?\nInnovate for Global Good.
