This role supports application development, optimizes cloud environments, and ensures adherence to best practices across cloud platforms. If you are applying but do not currently reside in one of these markets, please note that relocation will not be covered by Harvest Group.\nResponsibilities\nDesign, deploy, and maintain cloud infrastructure across platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud\nImplement infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Bicep\nMonitor system performance, availability, and reliability, and proactively address issues\nCollaborate with development teams to support CI/CD pipelines and application deployments\nEnsure security best practices are followed, including identity management, encryption, and compliance standards\nOptimize cloud costs through monitoring, right-sizing, and resource management\nAutomate operational processes to improve efficiency and reduce manual intervention\nTroubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and application issues in cloud environments\nMaintain documentation for architecture, processes, and configurations\nSupport disaster recovery planning, backups, and business continuity initiatives\nRequirements\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience)\n3+ years of experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP\nStrong understanding of networking concepts including VNets, DNS, and load balancing\nExperience with infrastructure as code tools such as Bicep or CloudFormation\nProficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell\nFamiliarity with CI/CD tools such as Terraform, GitHub Actions, or Azure Dev Ops\nExperience with containerization technologies like Docker\nUnderstanding of cloud security principles and best practices\nStrong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex issues\nEffective communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally\nPreferred\nCloud certifications such AZ-104: Azure Administrator greater\nExperience with serverless architectures and services (e.g., AWS Lambda, Azure Functions)\nFamiliarity with monitoring and logging tools such as Azure App Insights or Grafana\nFamiliarity with cost management and optimization tools\nUnderstanding of compliance frameworks like SOC 2\nExperience with database services (e.g., PostgreSQL, Cosmos DB, Snowflake)\nExposure to Agile methodologies and collaborative development practices\nOur heart at Harvest is to provide and maintain a work environment that fosters diversity, inclusivity, authenticity, mutual respect, professionalism, and growth.
