This role will create innovative software, adhere to best practices, and ensure the sustainability of enterprise-level applications.\nOur approach to servicing our employees is grounded in our values. If you are applying but do not currently reside in this market, please note that relocation will not be covered by Harvest Group.\nResponsibilities\nContribute to the development and enhancement of new or existing software applications, aligning with company goals and enterprise architecture.\nActively participate in maintaining Harvest’s architectural standards by providing input on system design and ensuring adherence to best practices.\nDemonstrate the principle of leaving code better than you found it, focusing on maintainability and clarity for team members.\nWrite high-quality, testable code following modern design patterns and principles.\nCollaborate within Agile/Scrum frameworks, participating in sprint planning, daily standups, and retrospectives to ensure team alignment and delivery.\nProvide mentorship to junior team members as needed, assisting with problem-solving and sharing best practices.\nEngage in code reviews, offering constructive feedback to peers and fostering a collaborative team environment.\nTroubleshoot and debug complex software issues, applying analytical skills to identify and implement effective solutions.\nRequirements:\n5+ years of experience in software development with a focus on solving business problems.\nSignificant experience in developing applications using C# or related languages.\nSignificant experience JavaScript, ReactJS, HTML, and CSS or related web technologies.\nStrong knowledge of design principles, including data structures, and software patterns.\nFamiliarity with RESTful APIs and the ability to work within Agile methodologies.\nDevOps experience (including source control, deployment techniques, unit testing)\nPreferred\nExposure to Test-Driven Development (TDD) and Behavior-Driven Development (BDD).\nUnderstanding of cloud-based architectures, preferably Microsoft Azure.\nFamiliarity with containerization technologies, such as Docker.\nStrong knowledge of ORM frameworks like Entity Framework for database operations.\nPrevious experience participating in or supporting CI/CD pipelines and automated testing processes\nExperience designing and shipping AI-enabled features that integrate LLM APIs (e.g. OpenAI and Anthropic) and reference both structured and unstructured data\nOur heart at Harvest is to provide and maintain a work environment that fosters diversity, inclusivity, authenticity, mutual respect, professionalism, and growth.
