This role will create innovative software, adhere to best practices, and ensure the sustainability of enterprise-level applications.\nOur approach to servicing our employees is grounded in our values. If you are applying but do not currently reside in one of these markets, please note that relocation will not be covered by Harvest Group.\nResponsibilities\nLead a cross-functional software development team, overseeing project delivery, technical execution, and professional development of team members. \nServe as technical lead on assigned projects, providing hands-on development support and architectural guidance alongside the team. \nContribute directly to the design, development, and enhancement of new and existing software applications, ensuring solutions are aligned with business goals and enterprise architecture standards. \nPartner with Product Owners, business stakeholders, and other technology leaders to translate business needs into technical solutions and drive initiatives forward. \nUphold and evolve Harvest’s architectural standards, participating in system design discussions and ensuring adherence to best practices around scalability, security, and maintainability. \nLead Agile/Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, daily standups, backlog refinement, and retrospectives, ensuring predictable delivery and continuous improvement. \nManage team performance through goal setting, regular feedback, coaching, and career development planning. \nMentor developers by providing guidance on technical challenges, code quality, and best practices, fostering a culture of learning and collaboration. \nParticipate in and facilitate code reviews, promoting high engineering standards, knowledge sharing, and constructive feedback. \nIdentify, troubleshoot, and resolve complex technical issues, balancing short-term fixes with long-term maintainable solutions. \nCollaborate with DevOps and infrastructure teams to support deployment, monitoring, and operational stability of applications. \nProactively identify risks, dependencies, and improvement opportunities related to delivery, process, or technology. \nRequirements\n5+ years of professional experience in software development, with a strong track record of solving complex business problems.\n2+ years of experience managing or leading software developers, including performance management and mentoring.\nSenior-level proficiency in C#, .NET, or related technologies, with the ability to design and implement production-ready solutions. \nStrong front-end development experience using JavaScript, React, HTML, and CSS, or similar modern web technologies. \nDemonstrated understanding of software design principles, data structures, and common architectural and design patterns. \nComfortable working in Agile/Scrum environments, including collaboration with product and business partners. \nExperience with DevOps practices, including source control, branching strategies, deployment approaches, and automated testing. \nStrong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences. \nAbility to balance hands-on development responsibilities with leadership and people management duties. \nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience designing or working within cloud-based architectures, preferably Microsoft Azure. \nFamiliarity with containerization technologies such as Docker. \nExperience participating in or supporting CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and release automation. \nPrevious experience acting as a technical lead or architect on medium to large-scale projects. \nExposure to performance tuning, application monitoring, or production support in a live environment. \nOur heart at Harvest is to provide and maintain a work environment that fosters diversity, inclusivity, authenticity, mutual respect, professionalism, and growth.
