The Field Operator is responsible for executing day-to-day oil and gas field operations while ensuring compliance with company health, safety, environmental (HS&E), and regulatory standards. This role supports production optimization, equipment maintenance, and operational efficiency, while working collaboratively with field teams, supervisors, and engineering staff. We are committed to supporting our employees with competitive compensation, meaningful work, and opportunities for growth.\n• Strong compensation• Career advancement opportunities• Strong safety culture and team-oriented environment\n\nWhat we are looking for\nOur ideal candidate will have the following minimum qualifications:\nHigh School Diploma or GED\nValid Class 5 driver’s license with a clean driving record\nAt least 2 years of operating experience\nCurrent safety courses – H2S, First Aid, Confined Space, ATV\nTechnical accreditation, diploma, or degree related to the industry / equivalent experience in the field\nStrong computer skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Office / other computer programs\nOur ideal candidate will also:\nBe self-motivated with a strong work ethic and positive attitude\nPossess strong leadership qualities\nPossess strong troubleshooting, problem solving, and mechanical skills\nBe able to work unsupervised\nBe safety conscious and lead by example\n\nWhat you will do\nFollow and enforce all health, safety, environmental, and regulatory compliance procedures\nParticipate in safety meetings, inspections, audits, and incident reporting\nPrepare hazard assessments, safe work agreements, and contractor site documentation\nPerform daily operations and monitoring of wells, pipelines, and production facilities\nReview of SCADA data, downtime reports, and well performance to optimize operations\nTroubleshoot and resolve production, process, and equipment issues\nCoordinate facility upkeep, housekeeping, maintenance, and operational activities\nCapture, analyze, and report production, downtime, emissions, and operational data\nMaintain accurate operational records and ensure effective shift handovers\nIdentify maintenance requirements and coordinate preventative and corrective work\nGenerate and manage maintenance work orders and support facility upgrades and repairs\nSupport operational efficiency and OPEX cost reduction initiatives\nAssist with production optimization and continuous improvement activities\nTrain, mentor, and support junior operators and team members\nContribute to standard operating procedures, KPI tracking, and MOC processes\nCollaborate with Foremen, Lead Operators, and cross-functional teams to achieve operational goals\nAdditional Information\nThis position is classified as safety sensitive.
