This role combines customer-facing engineering, full-stack product development, and AI application engineering. You will take ownership of the complete development lifecycle, from understanding customer requirements and designing technical solutions to building, deploying, and improving applications in production.\n\nYou will work across frontend, backend, AI agents, enterprise integrations, and infrastructure to deliver solutions that create measurable business outcomes. The ideal candidate is a hands-on engineer who enjoys solving ambiguous problems, working directly with customers, and turning real-world requirements into scalable product capabilities.\n\nResponsibilities: \nPartner with customers, business stakeholders, and engineering teams to understand existing workflows, identify challenges, and define measurable success criteria.\nTranslate complex business requirements into technical designs, working applications, and production-ready AI solutions.\nBuild end-to-end applications, including frontend interfaces, backend APIs, data models, AI agent behaviour, and enterprise integrations.\nDevelop agent instructions, tools, connectors, and workflow automation capabilities with appropriate permissions, approval mechanisms, and error handling.\nDesign and implement reliable, secure, and maintainable software systems that support enterprise requirements.\nConduct realistic testing, including unit, integration, and end-to-end testing, to ensure applications perform reliably in production environments.\nDeploy applications, troubleshoot production issues, and continuously improve system performance, reliability, and user experience.\nWork closely with customers during implementation and adoption, gathering feedback and iterating on solutions to achieve business objectives.\nIdentify recurring customer requirements and collaborate with platform and infrastructure teams to develop reusable product capabilities.\nMaintain accountability for the complete delivery lifecycle, from initial discovery and development through deployment, adoption, and ongoing improvement.\nTravel within India when required to support customer discovery, implementation, and product adoption.\n\nRequirements: \n5-12 years of software engineering experience, with flexibility for exceptional candidates outside this range.\nStrong fundamentals in software engineering, including application architecture, API design, data modelling, testing, and production debugging.\nDemonstrated experience building and deploying production-grade software applications.\nAbility to work across frontend, backend, databases, integrations, and infrastructure as required.\nExperience with modern web application development and backend service frameworks.\nStrong problem-solving skills and the ability to translate ambiguous business requirements into practical technical solutions.\nUnderstanding of enterprise security principles, including authentication, authorisation, data protection, permissions, and auditability.\nExperience using AI coding tools and modern AI models to improve engineering productivity while maintaining ownership of code quality and architectural decisions.\nExcellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.\nComfort working in a fast-paced environment with evolving requirements, broad ownership, and regular customer interaction.\n\nPreferred Technical Skills: \nExperience with some of the following technologies and concepts is beneficial:\nFrontend: TypeScript, React, TanStack, Tailwind CSS.\nBackend: Python, FastAPI, REST APIs.\nDatabases: PostgreSQL, relational data modelling, typed data models.\nAI Engineering: AI agents, LLM integrations, agent tools, workflow automation, evaluations.\nIntegrations: MCP-based tools and connectors, enterprise APIs, browser automation.\nInfrastructure: Kubernetes, cloud-native deployment, observability, and durable workflows.\nEngineering Practices: Automated testing, production monitoring, debugging, and AI-assisted development.\nExperience with every technology listed is not mandatory.
