Principal Software Engineer
Location / hybrid: Katowice (2-3 days onsite per week)
Type of contract: UoP or B2B
Salary: 26 000 - 30 000 PLN per month / B2B: 170 - 200 PLN / h

Key Responsibilities
Act as a senior individual contributor within the technology organization and serves as a technical leader across multiple engineering domains
Design and engineer new technical solutions and features
Active approach in solving any production issues and incidents
Lead other engineers to independence regarding technical solution
Drive modernisation of systems
Ensure high-quality data integration
Ensure high quality in delivery of new features and technical solutions
Ensure zero downtime releases and support after production release
Foster a culture of ownership, continuous improvement, and technical excellence
Liaising with other key engineers, product managers, business partners and stakeholders
Required qualifications
6+ years of software engineering experience (backend or fullstack)
Golang coding experience or experience in more than one popular backend language
Experience with architecture of large-scale distributed systems.
Proven experience building high-traffic platforms
Strong understanding of asynchronous communication and Microservice
Strong understanding of Cloud-native architectures and operational excellence
Experience leading cross-team technical initiatives
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Willingness to use/learn Golang, MongoDB, NATS / NSQ / Kafka, AWS
Fluent in English and Polish
