This is your chance to shape legendary play that lasts a lifetime.\nWe have an opportunity for an Accountant to join our Controllership team where they will play an integral role in our Accounting Organization! The Accountant is responsible for managing and maintaining fixed asset and lease schedules, ensuring the accuracy and updates of long-lived tangible assets master data, performance of account reconciliations, and collaborating with internal partners. The role will also be critical to the timely and accurate execution of close cycle activities, preparing and posting journal entries, and interpreting technical accounting matters related to long-lived tangible assets.\nA day in the life of a Long Live Tangible Assets Accountant on the Controllership team:\nMaintain and update the lease tool with accurate records of lease agreements and track lease renewals, terminations, and modifications\nHandle the accounting for the acquisition, capitalization, and depreciation of fixed assets in accordance with technical accounting standards (incl. ASC 350 and ASC 985, etc.)\nUpdate fixed asset master data within SAP\nConduct impairment analyses for fixed assets and prepare fixed assets roll forwards\nPerform and review financial close activities and enable timely and accurate completion of close-related tasks\nConduct and assess account reconciliations and collect appropriate supporting documentation\nCarry out and assess variance analyses to identify discrepancies and ensure financial integrity\nPrepare and post manual journal entries using both Blackline and SAP processes\nEnable compliance with US GAAP, company policies and procedures, and other regulatory requirements\nProvide support during internal and external audits, including preparation of audit documentation in response to auditor inquiries\nOwn in-scope SOX controls, including implementation of remediation plans\nLead and coordinate activities with third-party accountants to ensure accurate and timely completion of assigned activities\nReview accounting work done by third-party accountants and provide feedback and corrections as necessary\nAct as a point of contact for external accounting professionals and to deliver mentorship and resolve issues\nWhat you’ll bring:\nBachelor Degree in Accounting or professional accounting qualification (ACCA, CPA, CIMA ore equialent) is preferred.\nMinimum 2 years accounting experience (public company and/or public accounting experience preferred).\nProficient in Microsoft Excel.\nStrong knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP), along with a solid understanding of accounting principles, concepts and practices.\nAbility to multitask, prioritize projects, creative problem-solve and contribute efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced team environment.\nExcellent communication skills and the ability to learn and adapt in a dynamic environment.\nOrganized and detail oriented.\nStrong problem-solving skills.\nExperience with SAP and/or Blackline is preferred.\nEmployees may be eligible for annual and long-term incentives as part of their overall compensation package, depending on role, location, and eligibility.
