This is your chance to shape legendary play that lasts a lifetime.\nAs a Full Stack Software Engineer working on the D&D team you will help design and build the clients and services that will power the next generation of D&D’s best-in-class digital Dungeon Master tools.\nThis will be a hybrid role located in Huntsville, AL or Renton, WA requiring three days a week in office. \nWhat You'll Do:\nBuild services using the latest technologies including Node.js, C#, and AWS.\nBuild client solutions using the latest web technologies including React, TypeScript, CSS, and HTML5.\nWrite maintainable, high-quality features in a team-based development environment.\nEngage in a shared code base through peer reviews and pull requests.\nWrite and maintain unit and integration tests.\nAssist with improving code integration and deployment processes.\nParticipate in planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.\nParticipate in on-call rotations and operational reviews\nAdhere to and improve processes and coding standards.\nCreate and maintain project documentation.\nWhat You'll Bring:\nAt least 2 years of experience as a software engineer building services using technologies like Node.js or .NET Core.\nAt least 2 years of industry experience using modern web development technologies like React, TypeScript, and CSS3.\nProven ability to deliver RESTful APIs using industry-standard practices with scalability and security in mind.\nExperience working with both relational (e.g., SQL Server, MySQL, Postgres) and non-relational databases (e.g., DynamoDB, MongoDB).\nFamiliarity with building services in the cloud (e.g., AWS, Azure, etc.)\nExcellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to think outside of the box.\nA curious attitude with an excitement to learn new things and contribute to all areas of the product.\nNice to Have:\nExperience with Next.js, Node.js, C#.\nExperience with AWS, Docker, Kubernetes.\nExperience with React and TypeScript.\nKnowledge of accessibility web standards (WAI-ARIA, WCAG).\nExperience practicing test-driven development.\nA passion for Dungeons & Dragons (D&D).\nYou enjoy healing party members in the midst of battle (but all new party members are welcome!)\nThe pay transparency range for this role is listed below.
