We’re looking for a Senior UX Designer to join the design team for the digital tools that power D&D Beyond, the best-in-class digital companion for Dungeons & Dragons. This role is an outstanding opportunity to build innovative, intuitive tools that unlock the magic of D&D for millions of players and Dungeon Masters around the world!\nThis role is a hybrid role requiring three days a week in our Renton, WA office. \nResponsibilities:\nDevelop UX and UI solutions for D&D Beyond with a strong understanding of product design, systems design, UI style, layout, typography, color, usability, and interaction design\nScope plan and deliver design projects independently. Proactively identify, communicate and solve issues impacting the quality of work\nDeliver appropriate level of design artifacts for the team (e.g., strategy articulation and alignment frameworks, discovery/research results, journey maps, flows, wireframes, high fidelity comps, style guides, etc).\nBreak down experiences thoughtfully with product and engineering for teams to ship value incrementally, making intentional trade-offs that are grounded in a clear perspective.\nQualifications:\nA degree in UX Design, Art, Information architecture, a related design field, or the ability to show equivalent professional experience.\nPortfolio and/or case study of interactive design work demonstrating excellent design sensibilities and craft skills.\nStrong visual design direction background, with experience crafting and evolving style guides and design systems in Figma or similar tools.\nHands on expertise in responsive web design, and familiarity with mobile app patterns.\nAbility to think conceptually in both visual and interface design, going beyond function to bring a point of view about design.\nExcellent verbal and written communication and collaboration skills working with cross functional teams that include product management and engineering.\nComfortable with using data to advise design decisions (and working with incomplete data when needed)\nA growth mindset for pushing yourself, the team, and the product towards continuous improvement.\nNice to Have:\nExperience with design systems for multichannel products specifically with multi-brand architecture.\nA love and passion for D&D and tabletop RPGs.\nBackground in both traditional product design and UX for the games or entertainment industry.\nThe pay transparency range for this role is listed below. The hiring range will vary based on factors such as experience, skills, location and market conditions.
