We are a group of people who are guided by the belief that by empowering our teams and providing the necessary time, tools, and support we can foster a creative culture where everyone can do their best work.\nSkeleton Key is headquartered in Austin, TX, and we’re building out a new, growing studio in Montreal, QC. We’re looking for a talented UI Programmer with a passion for creating intuitive, responsive game interfaces. You’ll join our Montreal team to implement and connect UI features in Unreal Engine, helping bring our first AAA game to life.\nWhat You'll Do:\nImplement and hook up game UI using Unreal UMG and Blueprints.\nConnect menus, HUDs, and widgets to gameplay systems and data.\nBuild reusable UI components and support established UI frameworks.\nImplement navigation and input for controller, mouse, and keyboard.\nDebug UI logic, layout, performance, and integration issues.\nCollaborate with UI/UX, art, design, and engineering.\nWhat You'll Bring:\nExperience building UI in Unreal using UMG and Blueprints.\n3 years of experience with C++ or console development.\n3 plus years professional development with UMG in Unreal\nUnderstanding of Blueprint scripting, events, interfaces, and data flow.\nStrong debugging and problem-solving skills.\nFamiliarity with UI navigation, input, scaling, and localization.\nAbility to create clear, maintainable implementations from designs.\nStrong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.\nNice To Have:\nProfessional game experience or a relevant portfolio.\nShipped title using Unreal Engine.\nWe are an equal opportunity / affirmative action employer\nWizards and Skeleton Key is committed to equality of opportunity in all aspects of employment.
