The Administrative Supervisor shall be considered “Administrator in residence” after normal business hours. Responsible for evaluation/execution of bed control.\nThis position requires providing managerial/administrative supervision to a facility which provides care/service to a normal through critically ill, neonatal through geriatric patient population in a manner that demonstrates an understanding of the functional and/or developmental age of the individual served.\nThis position requires the full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the Mission of San Gabriel Valley Medical Center. It is expected that the employee will demonstrate behavior consistent with the Core Values. The employee shall support San Gabriel Valley Medical Center’s strategic plan and the goals and direction of the Performance Improvement Plan (PIP).\nResponsibilities\nSPECIFICJOBDUTIES:\nIdentifies customers and their service requirements.\nAnalytical decisions are based on current and valid data. \nMaintains awareness of and complies with both internal and external information reporting requirements.\nAdheres to policies and procedures to support the provision of services. \nCoordinates admission, discharge, transfer of patients based on MCG/INTERQUAL criteria.
