We are expanding our business to help support this growth and have many exciting opportunities for experienced and motivated professionals to join us in The Netherlands, Germany, Switzerland, the UK or South Africa.\nWhat you do as a Controls BIM Engineer (MCF/ Data Centres)\nAs a Controls BIM Engineer (or Technologist / Technician dependent on qualification), you must prove yourself to some of the most demanding customers in the world and work pro-actively with our colleagues across the globe. Beyond the standard features of a building, our MCF projects require specific and advanced knowledge and skills.\nAs a Controls BIM Engineer, you will play a crucial role in developing and engineering designs for our MCF projects, working closely with project teams and under the guidance of the Lead Engineer. Your responsibilities will include creating and managing BIM families, modeling building controls, electronics or security service installations in 3D Revit/ BIM, and ensuring designs are accurate, functional, and buildable without revisions. Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:\nDevelop and coordinate controls, electronics or security service installation diagrams, ensuring initial space reservations with other disciplines.\nIntegrate functionality, mountability, accessibility, and maintainability into models to ensure buildable designs without revisions.\nCollaborate within a multidisciplinary, cross-border team to deliver projects.\nContribute to optimizing internal processes and share knowledge within the team.\nMaintain regular communication with Project Engineers and ensure all work meets Haskoning and client standards.\nYou will work within a multidisciplinary team where your work will be cross borders, native and home based. In addition to participating in projects, you naturally also contribute to the optimization of our internal business processes and to safeguarding and sharing knowledge within your field. Besides that, you have:\nDiploma or Bachelor’s degree in control & instrumentation engineering, mechatronic engineering or automation engineering or similar, with 3 - 6+ years post graduate relevant, multi-disciplinary experience, within a consulting engineering environment;\nExperience in controls, electrical, electronic or security services modelling design of data centres/ mission critical facilities is an advantage;\nWorking knowledge of BMS, EPMS and HVAC control systems, including the ability to interpret controls schematics, equipment interfaces and network requirements for accurate Revit modelling and multidisciplinary coordination.\nStrong Revit and ACC software proficiency;\nRevizto, automation and AI tools experience are advantageous;\nProactive, flexible, and results-oriented professional with strong problem-solving skills;\nCollaborative team player with excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken.\nWhat you can expect from us\nAt Haskoning, we believe that the well-being of our employees is essential to our shared success.
