The role includes technical leadership, project coordination, client engagement, mentoring engineers, and ensuring compliance with international maritime standards.\nKey Responsibilities\nLead mechanical engineering design and project delivery for maritime and shipbuilding projects.\nDevelop Concept, FEED, Detailed Design and Construction Engineering packages.\nReview and approve engineering calculations, specifications, layouts and drawings.\nDesign and review pumping stations, firefighting systems, compressed air systems, HVAC systems, utility piping, water supply and drainage systems, fuel and oil handling systems, bulk material handling systems and shipyard infrastructure.\nCoordinate with civil, structural, electrical, marine and instrumentation teams.\nInterface with clients, contractors, vendors, shipyards and port authorities. • Lead design reviews, HAZOP workshops and technical discussions. • Mentor junior engineers and ensure quality of project deliverables.\nWhere you will work\nNavi Mumbai, Maharashtra\nWhat you bring\nQualifications\nBachelor's degree in mechanical engineering (Mandatory).\nMaster's degree in mechanical / marine engineering preferred.\nExperience\n15-20+ years of mechanical engineering experience.\nMinimum 8-10 years in maritime, ports, shipbuilding, offshore or marine infrastructure projects.\nExperience in multidisciplinary project leadership.\nTechnical Skills\nMarine Mechanical Systems Design\nPiping Engineering\nHVAC Design\nFire Protection Systems\nHydraulic Calculations\nEquipment Specification & Selection\nBulk Material Handling\nSystems Software\nAutoCAD, Revit MEP, Fluid Flow, Pipe Net, Smart Plant and MS Project/Primavera.\nStandards\nIMO, ASME, API, NFPA, ISO, BIS and Classification Society Standards.\nWhat we offer you\nMarket competitive salary\nExperience in an employee friendly work culture\nInsurance cover for self and family\nSocial Security\nPaid leaves\nGroup Profit Sharing\nAre you our new colleague?\nWe would like to meet you!
