You will work closely with engineers from disciplines such as architecture, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, structural engineering, and fire safety, while also liaising directly with clients, authorities, and contractors.\nYou combine hands-on design work (Revit/Civil 3D), technical guidance of BIM modelers / junior engineers, design quality management, and coordination of multidisciplinary inputs. You understand the requirements of each design phase and actively contribute to design optimization and continuous improvement.\nYour key responsibilities\nDesign and model civil engineering components, both above and below ground, using Revit and Civil 3D.\nGuide, manage, and coach Civil BIM Modelers.\nCoordinate multidisciplinary engineering teams and maintain direct communication with clients.\nPrepare and review documentation for permits, tenders, and construction packages.\nInterpret geotechnical reports and perform relevant civil engineering calculations, such as hydraulic calculations.\nEnsure quality by reviewing designs and documents produced by colleagues.\nProactively identify and implement design optimizations and improvements.\nSupport the construction phase by responding to technical queries from contractors.\nWhere you will work\nAt Haskoning, you will join an independent consultancy that combines engineering, design, and advisory services with software and technology. We partner with leading clients in sectors such as infrastructure, climate resilience, renewable energy, industrial decarbonization, and sustainable mobility.\nWhat you bring\nYou are an experienced Civil Engineer with a passion for complex technical projects and a strong focus on both collaboration and technical excellence.\nYou have:\nA bachelor’s or master’s degree in civil engineering, or a Construction Engineering degree with a strong civil engineering focus.\nAt least 7-10 years of relevant experience in civil engineering design within the commercial, industrial, or mission-critical construction sectors.\nProfessional registration with ECSA as a Professional Civil Engineer.\nStrong proficiency in Revit (the leading platform within MCF projects), Civil 3D and experience with ACC/Forma.
