Our networked offices make collaboration seamless, and our flexible, hybrid working options ensure you can thrive both professionally and personally.\nEngineer your success with Arch Henderson and help us build the future.\nWhat you will do as our Senior Maritime Engineer:\nPreparation of designs for maritime and associated structures, from initial concepts through to detailed designs.\nProduction of design calculations, checking and reviewing of calculations produced by others.\nProducing sketch drawings and details for CAD drawing by others checking and reviewing of these prior to issue.\nPreparation of specifications, Bills of Quantities and assistance with contract documents for construction projects.\nManage and direct more junior staff\nCoach junior staff in technical matters\nUndertake project work as required\nManage projects as required\nCarrying out inspections and surveys, preparation of reports, structural analyses and reporting.\nProviding sound engineering judgement and advice.\nProviding guidance and mentoring to more junior staff.\nCommercial and technical management of projects within the office, ensuring that projects show a profitable result.\nWhat you bring:\nBSc/BEng in Civil Engineering (or equivalent)\nCEng, MICE or very near to Chartered status\nGood communicator (written and verbal)\nProfessional experience in planning and design of maritime works / heavy civils projects\nExperience in reinforced concrete design and finite element analysis\nProven technical track record and ability;\nGood team player to contribute to dynamic group;\nCommercially aware\nWhat we offer you:\nAmbitious.
