This position provides operational planning, coordination, and analytical support to ensure the successful execution of organizational initiatives, training events, and strategic planning efforts. This position is contingent upon award.\nEssential Duties & Responsibilities\nDevelop, maintain, and update operational plans supporting organizational goals and mission requirements.\nCoordinate with department leads to support strategic planning and execution of initiatives.\nPrepare reports, briefings, and status updates on operational activities, resource utilization, and risks.\nAnalyze business processes and recommend improvements to enhance operational efficiency.\nSupport planning and execution of exercises, training events, and contingency operations.\nCoordinate planning meetings, prepare agendas, document action items, and track follow-up activities.\nMaintain operational schedules, milestones, and planning documentation.\nPrepare after-action reports that capture lessons learned and recommendations for continuous improvement.\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor's degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Management, Military Studies, or a related field.\nThree (3) years of experience in operations, planning, program management, or organizational support.\nStrong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills, including briefing preparation.\nProficiencywith Microsoft Office Suite.\nActive Secret (Tier 3) Security Clearance or the ability to obtain one.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience supporting Department of Defense or Federal Government organizations.\nExperience with operational planning, military exercises, or training event coordination.\nKnowledge of Marine Corps staff processes and planning methodologies.\nThis document is not intended to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of all job-related activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee.
