This position provides research and analytical support for academic and organizational initiatives by collecting and analyzing data, conducting literature reviews, supporting research design, and preparing reports and presentations that inform decision-making. This position is contingent upon contract award.\nEssential Duties & Responsibilities\nSupport research projects by gathering, organizing, and analyzing data from primary and secondary sources.\nConduct literature reviews to identifyrelevant studies, articles, and publications related to ongoing research.\nAssistin the development of research proposals, including the preparation of background information and methodologysections.\nManage data entry and ensure the accuracy and integrity of data collected throughout the research process.\nPrepare summaries and reports based on research findings, presenting data in clear and accessible formats.\nCoordinate with research team members to organize and schedule meetings, interviews, and data collection activities.\nMaintain detailed records of research activities, including notes, data sources, and methodologies used.\nAssistwith statistical analysis using software tools to interpret data and generate insights as required.\nSupport the preparation of visual materials, such as charts, graphs, and presentations, to communicate research findings.\nAssistin preparing research manuscripts, abstracts, and conference materials for publication and presentation.\nEnsure compliance with ethical standards and confidentiality requirements related to research data and activities.\nConduct regular reviews of research project timelines and milestones, providing updates to project leadsas necessary.\nMaintain an organized digital and physical filing system for research documents, data, and resources.\nAssistin developing research instruments, such as surveys and interview guides, to support data collection.\nStay informed of recent developments in the field to contribute relevant knowledge to research projects.\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor's degree in Education, Social Sciences, Business, Statistics, Public Administration, Political Science, or a related field.\nOne (1) to three (3) years of experience supporting research, data analysis, or program evaluation.\nStrong analytical, research, and technical writing skills.\nExperience with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and PowerPoint.\nAbility to organize and analyze quantitative and qualitative data.\nActive Secret (Tier 3) Security Clearance or the ability to obtain one.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience supporting Department of Defense, Federal Government, or higher education research programs.\nExperience with statistical analysis software (e.g., SPSS, SAS, R, or similar).\nFamiliarity with survey development, data visualization, and research methodologies.\nThis document is not intended to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of all job-related activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee.
