Hatch is currently seeking a highly motivated Control and Automation Engineerto join our Project Delivery Group (PDG) in Belo Horizonte.\nAs a successful candidate, you will;\nWork with Control and Automation team on projects and ensure delivery of project requirements as they relate to scope, execution strategy, cost and schedule\n\nPrepare and review of all engineering documentation within discipline including, but not limited to, the following documents, lists, calculations and detail drawings; Instrumentation and Controls Design Criteria, Control Philosophy and conceptual design of industrial control systems, functional specifications and detailed control narratives and or functional descriptions, instrument index, I/O lists, instrumentation calculations, data sheets, specifications, selection and sizing, P&ID’s, system architecture drawings, instrument location drawings, installation detail drawings, wiring and interconnection diagrams, ISA loop drawings, motor control schematics.\n\nEnsure compliance with all relevant engineering standards and internal procedures for all engineering activities\n\nPreparation of Basic and Detail Engineering, procurement, installation of automation components and systems\n\nCreate technical specifications for requests for automation components and systems\n\nCreate technical functional descriptions, test specifications and instructions as well as interface descriptions\n\nSupport with HAZOPs, SIL calculations and validations\n\nCollaborate with project management/engineering staff to achieve project objectives\n\nConduct work in accordance with company safety and quality policies and procedures\n\nParticipate in regular project meetings and assessment of ongoing project needs\n\nCheck and verify construction drawings, vendor drawings, material requisitions and approval of bid tabulations and field checkout\n\nPerform field surveys, when necessary\n\nProvide construction support, commissioning and start-up assistance as required\n\nYou will bring to the role;\nBSc/BEng in Electronic / Electrical Engineering or equivalent, with a strong interest in industrial process control, automation and computer systems\n\nExtensive design (15 + years) and Project engineering experience leading teams in mining, metals, minerals processing or heavy industry environment\n\nExperience with fieldbus technologies, networking and hardware\n\nKnowledge of automation components and systems with focus on Siemens, TIA portal, etc.\n\nKnowledge of network technology, server, virtualisation, redundancy concepts\n\nKnowledge in DCS/PLC technology, highly available and failsafe systems\n\nExperience in commissioning industrial automation projects\n\nDemonstrated strong troubleshooting, analytical, technical problem-solving skills\n\nHigh attention to details, motivation and commitment to quality and customer service\n\nAbility to operate effectively and work under pressure in a fast-pace environment\n\nDemonstrated ability to learn and quickly comprehend new concepts and technologies\n\nUnderstanding of all aspects of software development and implementation\n\nFlexibility to meet project requirements\n\nKnowledge of Windows, Basic Networking and Databases\n\nAdvantage\nAUTOCAD knowledge\n\nComos knowledge\n\nSmartplant Instrumentation (INTools) knowledge\n\nSISTEMA knowledge\n\nVISIO knowledge\n\nProgramming skills with Siemens S7, PCS7, TIA portal\n\nTechnical knowledge in drive engineering, measurement engineering and power engineering\n\nKnowledge of functional safety, SIL, PL\n\nKnowledge of the relevant standards and statutory provisions for planning, construction and market placement of electrotechnical systems\n\nKnowledge of technical identification systems\n\nWhy join us?\nWork with great people to make a difference\nCollaborate on exciting projects to develop innovative solutions\nTop employer\nWhat we offer you?\nFlexible work environment\nLong term career development\nThink globally, work locally\nDon't meet every single requirement?
