Hatch is currently seeking a highly motivated Senior Structural Engineer to join our Engineering team in Indonesia.\nWe ensure world-class project delivery through the skills of our people, methodologies, governance, and systems. Our engineering and project management and construction disciplines ensure safe, efficient, and sustainable delivery of projects globally across the metals and mining, infrastructure, and energy sectors.\nAs the successful candidate, you will:\nLead and coordinate the structural discipline team across project phases from pre-feasibility to execution, operating effectively with minimal supervision.\nInterface with clients on technical matters.\nProvide structural engineering analysis and design.\nPlan and managing engineering activities using Engineering Work Packages.\nPrepare engineering calculations, technical specifications and scopes of work.\nPrepare Material Take Offs/Bill of Quantities.\nReview and check engineering drawings.\nProvide input to engineering, operating and cost estimates.\nParticipate in and contribute to design reviews.\nAble to undertake site visits and liaise with clients on site as needed to resolve construction issues, respond to technical queries, and support project delivery.\nYou bring to the role:\nDegree in Civil Engineering from a recognized tertiary institution.\nMinimum 17 years of experience in multidisciplinary consultancy environment.\nDemonstrated design experience in mining/industrial projects from concept to detail design.\nStrong background in basic engineering principles.\nEffective communication and interpersonal skills for inter-departmental and external company interactions.\nStrong work ethic and positive attitude.\nDemonstrated design experience.\nExperience with structural design software such as SAP2000, SpaceGass, Strand7 and StaadPro.\nDemonstrated knowledge of industry and/or regulatory standards relating to structural engineering) including American Codes, Australian codes and Indonesian Standards.\nPrevious structural engineering experience within the infrastructure, industrial and mining sectors is preferred.\nLeadership experience or ability to demonstrate potential in this area.\nApplicants holding relevant Indonesian professional engineering registrations and certifications, such as Professional Engineer (Insinyur Profesional/PII), SKK, and other applicable credentials, will be highly regarded. \nWhy join us?\nWork with great people to make a difference\nCollaborate on exciting projects to develop innovative solutions\nTop employer\nWhat we offer you?\nFlexible work environment\nLong term career development\nThink globally, work locally\nDon't meet every single requirement?
