Our goal is to achieve no harm for our people, our clients, and our communities.\nAs the successful candidate, you will:\nConduct hydrology and hydraulics analyses, calculations, and computer simulations using spreadsheets or discipline-specific software packages.\nSupport the preparation of technical reports, drawings, specifications, and correspondence.\nAssist with development of proposals and presentations for clients.\nConduct field visits to client sites (if required).\nQualifications:\nGraduating in 2027 or recently graduated in Bachelor’s or Master’s Civil Engineering from a recognized engineering program at an accredited University.\nDemonstrated coursework, research, and/or work experience in hydrotechnical engineering topics. This includes topics such as open-channel hydraulics and statistical hydrology. \nProficiency in the use of programs such as GIS, AutoCAD, and Microsoft® desktop software including Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Project.\nExperience using hydrotechnical software such as HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, or similar platforms will be considered an Asset.\nCompetencies:\nDedicated team player with strong interpersonal, communication, analytical, and organizational skills.\nExceptional communication and interpersonal skills.\nCompensation:\nRange: $80,000 - $87,000\nAt Hatch, we are committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. In accordance with legislated pay transparency requirements, the expected salary range for this position is based on current market data and aligned with internal pay structures to ensure consistency and fairness.\nYour individual compensation within this range will depend on factors such as skills, experience, qualifications and location.
