Hatch is seeking a motivated Package & Hydraulic Engineer to join our team in Jakarta, Indonesia.\nAs part of our Project Delivery Group (PDG), you will work across a broad range of mining, energy and infrastructure projects, supporting the delivery of practical engineering solutions from studies and design through to project execution. This role offers the opportunity to work with multidisciplinary teams, engage with clients and vendors, and contribute to projects across the Asia-Pacific region.\nAs the successful candidate, you will:\nReporting to the Discipline Lead, you will be responsible for the delivery of package and hydraulic engineering activities throughout the project lifecycle.\nKey responsibilities include:\nDevelop hydraulic and package engineering solutions that meet project and operational requirements.\nPrepare and review specifications, data sheets, calculations and technical documentation.\nCoordinate with clients, vendors and internal disciplines on technical requirements and deliverables.\nSupport equipment selection, hydraulic system design, analysis and sizing activities.\nInterpret and apply PFDs, P&IDs, design criteria and project specifications.\nPrepare procurement and contract packages, including technical scopes and vendor data requirements.\nCoordinate technical aspects during vendor engagement, bid evaluations and equipment procurement.\nManage package interfaces and support multidisciplinary project delivery.\nParticipate in design reviews, HAZOPs, operability and maintainability reviews.\nProvide technical guidance and support to engineers and designers within the project team.\nYou bring to the role:\nDegree qualification in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.\nExperience in package engineering and/or hydraulic system design within mining, industrial, energy or infrastructure projects.\nKnowledge of relevant engineering standards, regulations and industry practices.\nExperience working within multidisciplinary project environments.\nUnderstanding of vendor management, procurement processes and technical evaluations.\nStrong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.\nFamiliarity with HAZOP studies, design reviews and risk-based engineering processes.\nAbility to build effective relationships with clients, vendors and project stakeholders.\nStrong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.\nWhy join us?\nWork with great people to make a difference\nCollaborate on exciting projects to develop innovative solutions\nTop employer\nWhat we offer you?\nFlexible work environment\nLong term career development\nThink globally, work locally\nDon't meet every single requirement?
