Hatch is currently seeking a motivated Piping Engineer to join our Project Delivery Group (PDG) in Jakarta, Indonesia.\nPDG helps clients achieve their business goals through strong technical capability, project delivery expertise, and collaborative teamwork. Our engineering, project management and construction professionals work across metals, mining, infrastructure and energy projects, delivering practical and sustainable solutions around the world.\nAs a member of our piping engineering team, you will contribute to the delivery of projects by supporting the design, analysis and specification of piping systems. Working closely with experienced engineers and multidisciplinary teams, you will be involved in all phases of project delivery, from studies and detailed design through to execution.\nAs the successful candidate, you will:\nScope piping and valving requirements across a range of projects.\nPrepare piping specifications, datasheets and technical documentation.\nContribute to the development and review of P&IDs, piping layouts and isometric drawings.\nPerform calculations relating to pipe sizing, support design and pipe stress analysis.\nSupport the development of 3D models and detailed engineering deliverables.\nCoordinate with other engineering disciplines to develop practical and integrated design\nsolutions.\nParticipate in design reviews and provide technical input throughout project delivery.\nMaintain a strong focus on safety, quality and technical excellence.\nWork closely with lead engineers and project teams to deliver projects on schedule and\nwithin budget.\nYou bring to the role:\nDegree qualification in Mechanical Engineering.\nRegistration as a Professional Engineer (preferred).\nExperience working on mining, metals, infrastructure, energy or industrial projects.\nExposure to detailed engineering and EPCM project environments.\nWorking knowledge of piping engineering standards, regulations and industry codes.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.\nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills.\nAbility to work effectively within multidisciplinary project teams.\nCommitment to technical excellence and continuous professional development.\nWhy join us?\nWork with great people to make a difference\nCollaborate on exciting projects to develop innovative solutions\nTop employer\nWhat we offer you?\nFlexible work environment\nLong term career development\nThink globally, work locally\nDon't meet every single requirement?
