Reporting to the Project Delivery Group, you will support offices globally working from our Pittsburgh, PA office location.\nWe’re entrepreneurs with a technical soul. We encourage candidates to connect with their recruiter and hiring manager to understand workplace expectations and ensure the role aligns with their goals.\nHatch will not provide sponsorship for employment visas or participate in STEM OPT for this position.\nQualifications:\nRoles at this level are filled by recent or soon to be university/college graduates with little or no professional experience but possessing relevant skills\nPreferred bachelor’s or master’s degree in business administration, engineering, construction management, or relevant discipline\nMinimum of a cumulative 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale\nAs the successful candidate, you will:\nGather and update site information into GIS systems\nManage contractors’ payment applications\nSet up and maintain the project timesheet system including the establishment of Time Charge codes and associated WBS structures and budgets\nSet up and maintain performance measurement system including the establishment of baseline estimates (hours and costs), work hour and progress curves\nCollect and collate progress information, actual workhours\nGenerate, check and distribute project reports including liaising with responsible managers to resolve any issues relating to the quality of the reports. Potential issues include the accuracy of actual workhours and progress data and the quality of the current estimate at completion\nMaintain all staffing plans for the EPCM team\nMaintain, in consultation with the relevant department and discipline leads, the forecast hours to go and/or estimate at completion based on performance to date and the project staffing plans\nManage change registers, development of change notices from identification to approval\nEnsures that the EPCM services budget and forecast are aligned with the project change and trend registers and provide input to these registers as appropriate.\nDevelop and maintain engineering schedules at the work package level \nMaintain key dates of the engagements in the performance measurement system as per the engagement schedule\nGain valuable on-site practical experience\nYou bring to the role:\nTertiary qualification in business administration, engineering, construction management or relevant discipline or appropriate project related experience \nComputer literacy (MS Office package) \nAbility to learn systems (SAP, ERPs, Arc GIS) \nAble to travel to construction sites in the city of Pittsburgh \nHands on knowledge of planning tools (Primavera P6, MS Project) \nKnowledge of earned value concepts \nKnowledge of cost management concepts (budgeting, forecasting, cost flows, change management and estimating) \nPrevious co-op or internship experience is an asset\nCompetencies (knowledge, skill, attributes):\nGood understanding of engineering and business fundamentals as they apply to engineering problems and projects\nAbility to learn quickly and to take on new challenges\nCollaborative team player with excellent interpersonal skills\nExcellent organizational skills and attention to detail\nStrong written and verbal communication skills\nShows critical and creative thinking and problem solving and brings forward solutions for our clients' toughest challenges\nAdapts and embraces change\nRequirements for all sectors:\nTo live our manifesto.
