We look forward to hearing from you.\nWe are currently recruiting a Lead Civil Engineer to provide technical leadership and oversee the delivery of major mining, energy, and infrastructure projects across Australia and globally. Based in our Perth office. This role offers the opportunity to lead multidisciplinary project teams, drive technical excellence and deliver complex civil engineering solutions from concept through to detailed design and construction support.\nAs a senior leader within our Civil team, you will play a key role in project delivery, client engagement, business development and the mentoring of emerging engineering talent. You'll work on a diverse portfolio of projects involving bulk earthworks, civil site development, roads, and drainage, helping clients solve their most complex challenges.\nAt Hatch, we believe you are the driver of your own career. We provide the support, flexibility and opportunities to help you grow, take on new challenges and make a meaningful impact on some of Australia's most significant projects.\nWe will also consider candidates for Melbourne and Perth\nKey Responsibilities\nLead and coordinate civil engineering delivery for major mining, energy, industrial and infrastructure projects.\nProvide technical leadership across bulk earthworks, site grading, drainage, roads, and pavements.\nAct as the Civil Discipline Lead, ensuring designs meet project, client and Australian regulatory requirements.\nOversee and approve engineering calculations, technical reports, specifications and contract documentation.\nPerform QA/QC reviews of civil designs, drawings and project deliverables.\nWork closely with project managers, clients and multidisciplinary teams to achieve successful project outcomes.\nMentor, coach and develop civil engineers and designers across project teams.\nSupport business development activities, proposal preparation, client engagement and project planning.\nQualifications and Experience\nBachelor of Engineering (Civil) or equivalent recognised qualification.\nChartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) through Engineers Australia, or eligibility to obtain chartership.
