We ensure delivery of services through the skills of our people, methodologies, and systems.\nHatch is looking for an experienced Proposal Team Lead to join our global Client Action Team (CAT) in Brisbane. In this role, you will lead strategic proposals across the Australia-Asia region, guide and develop a high-performing proposal team, and help position Hatch to win our most important opportunities. Working closely with pursuit teams and business leaders, you'll manage the end-to-end proposal process, balance regional resources, and contribute to CAT's global proposal leadership network. This role is ideal for a strategic proposal professional who combines strong people leadership with a passion for delivering winning submissions.\nAs the successful candidate, you will:\nLead the proposal process from RFP receipt through submission and post-submission support.\nPartner with Pursuit Managers to develop proposal plans, schedules, and compliance requirements.\nFacilitate proposal kick-offs, review sessions, strategy workshops, and progress meetings.\nShape compelling proposal content, win themes, and client-focused messaging.\nReview submissions to ensure quality, compliance, consistency, and accuracy.\nIdentify and manage risks that may impact proposal quality or deadlines.\nLead post-submission clarifications, debriefs, and continuous improvement initiatives.\nProvide leadership, coaching, and mentoring to the regional proposal team.\nManage proposal resourcing and workload priorities across the AUA region.\nSupport collaboration across the global CAT network and promote proposal best practices.\nProvide guidance on related CAT processes, including CRM and pursuit governance.\nAbout You\n You hold a degree or diploma in Business, Communications, Marketing, or a related discipline, along with extensive experience leading complex proposals within a professional services environment. You are a strong writer, communicator, and relationship builder who can influence stakeholders at all levels and bring teams together around a shared pursuit strategy. You have demonstrated experience leading and developing proposal professionals, balancing competing priorities, and delivering high-quality submissions in a fast-paced environment. Advanced Microsoft Office skills are essential, while experience with SharePoint, Adobe Creative Cloud, CRM platforms, and the engineering consulting industry will be highly regarded.
