# Senior Mining Engineer & Study Manager

Position Summary Hatch is seeking an experienced Senior Mining Engineer / Study Manager to join our Mining & Metals team in Johannesburg. This is a senior, client-facing role combining mining engineering technical expertise with the leadership and management of multidisciplinary mining studies. The successful candidate will play a key role in developing technically robust, practical and commercially sound solutions for mining projects across the project development lifecycle. The role will involve leading and contributing to conceptual, scoping, pre-feasibility and feasibility studies, working across both greenfield and brownfield mining projects and coordinating inputs from multidisciplinary engineering and project teams. The successful candidate will bring together strong mining engineering fundamentals, practical operational understanding, study management capability and the ability to engage confidently with clients and senior stakeholders.
