Apply today!\nWe are seeking a Structural Engineer with experience in underground mining projects to join our Mining team. Supporting the delivery of a range of mining projects, you will be responsible for the analysis, design and assessment of structural infrastructure associated with underground and surface mining operations and materials handling systems.\nWorking within a multidisciplinary project environment, you will contribute across all phases of project delivery, from studies and feasibility through to detailed design, construction support and commissioning.\nThis role offers the opportunity to work on complex mining projects while collaborating with experienced engineers and industry specialists while further developing your expertise in the underground mining sector.\nKey Responsibilities:\nDeliver structural engineering solutions for underground mining projects across all stages of the project lifecycle, from studies and feasibility through to detailed design, construction support and commissioning.\nUndertake the analysis and design of underground mining infrastructure, including shaft infrastructure in vertical and decline shafts, headframes, crusher and conveyor structures, paste fill facilities, ventilation structures, and associated surface facilities.\nDevelop structural models using software such as SpaceGass, Strand7, StaadPro or similar, and prepare engineering calculations, design reports, technical specifications, scopes of work and other project deliverables.\nConduct site inspections, structural assessments and technical investigations, ensuring designs comply with relevant Australian Standards, client requirements and industry best practice.\nCollaborate with mining, geotechnical, mechanical, civil and process engineering teams, participating in design reviews, risk assessments, constructability reviews and safety-in-design workshops.\nReview engineering drawings and models, support project planning and estimating activities, and provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior engineers and designers.\nWhat You'll Bring\nBachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from a recognised institution.\nProfessional Engineer registration, or actively working towards registration.\nExperience delivering structural engineering projects within the mining sector, including exposure to underground mining infrastructure.\nStrong knowledge of reinforced concrete and structural steel design.\nExperience preparing engineering calculations, technical reports and specifications.\nFamiliarity with relevant engineering codes, standards and design practices.\nStrong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.\nAbility to work effectively within multidisciplinary project teams.\nStrong planning, organisational and problem-solving skills.\nCommitment to safety, quality and continuous improvement.\nWhy join us?\nWork with great people to make a difference\nCollaborate on exciting projects to develop innovative solutions\nTop employer\nWhat we offer you?\nGlobal project exposure across complex, impactful industries\nStrong focus on career growth, learning and mentorship\nCollaborative, values-driven culture focused on innovation and excellence\nDon't meet every single requirement?
