Join our team today and help make a consequential difference!\nYou will be a part of our Project Delivery Group - Structural, where we ensure world-class project delivery through the skills of our people, methodologies, governance, and systems.\nResponsibilities will include, but not be limited to:\nLead a team to ensure effective and successful delivery for various nuclear projects\n\nPrepare staffing estimates, deliverable lists and project schedule\n\nPlan and identify structural engineering resources\n\nCoordinate and manage the execution of activities and report progress\n\nProvide leadership and resolution on technical issues with the structural discipline\n\nParticipate in the preparation of specifications, structural analysis and design, calculations, seismic design and evaluation, bill of materials, as well as coordinate with all project team members\n\nDesign and analyze general steel, concrete as well as specialized design using nuclear codes and standards applying clients change control process\n\nParticipate and contribute to site walkdowns, projects meetings design reviews, disposition, and incorporation of internal and external review comments\n\nYou bring to the role:\nB.Sc. Civil/Structural Engineering degree from a recognized university\n\nRegistered Professional Engineer in Ontario, or eligible to obtain\n\nMinimum 12 years of project engineering experience with a focus in nuclear\n\nExperience with the Nuclear Quality Management System (NQMS)\n\nDemonstrated ability to lead a team of structural engineers and designers on complex nuclear projects\n\nKnowledge and experience of nuclear power plant modification and upgrade design\n\nIn-depth knowledge and experience of seismic design and evaluation of nuclear power plant structures, systems and components\n\nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills\n\nThe ability to coordinate within multidisciplined teams\n\nExperience with STAAD pro, Ansys and SAP2000\n\nSeismic capability engineer certified by Seismic Qualification Utility Group (SQUG) is preferred\n\nMust be able to obtain Canadian Security Intelligence Service (CSIS) security clearance.\n\nCompensation: $115,000 - $165,000\nAt Hatch, we are committed to fair and equitable compensation practices.
