The Visualizer & Art Director may also be called upon to ideate and execute de novo creations as well. The role is for experienced creative individuals who have exceptional design and production skills, and can implement them across all media channels. The Visualizer & Art Director is able to seamlessly switch gears between design and production in channels such as print, digital, presentation, branding, and motion disciplines.\nCreativity:\nExecutes layouts based on creative briefing, brand guidelines and or art direction.\n\nAbility to translate layout and design across media and can bring ideas to life.\n\nArt and design centric thinking with a passion for health and wellness and the science behind it.\n\nDesign skills:\nExcellent design and creative skills, including an overall aptitude for visual communications through typography, color, photography, graphic and art elements.\n\nCommanding knowledge of print, digital/interactive design, retouching, and motion design.\n\nBasic understanding of UUX/UI design concepts.\n\nBranding knowledge:\nAbility to design materials true to the brand identity of product and style guidelines set.\n\nFollows branding guidelines to deliver ancillary pieces based on creative instruction and marketing need.\n\nProject and Agency Goals:\nEnsure work is in line with the goals of the project, and that client needs are met.\n\nAdheres to and monitors agency guidelines related to file naming, file and folder management, file preparation and builds, and back-up/archiving.\n\nProduction Skills:\nAble to seamlessly switch gears between design and production.\n\nFamiliar with production concepts such as layer comps, iOS platform, desktop applications, mobile and emails and has knowledge of production requirements for all medium (print design, web design, and motion design).\n\nMakes corrections to layouts (art and copy) as indicated by brand team or client. Reviews corrected pages for accuracy and completeness of corrections.\n\nCollaborates with Art Directors during preliminary/concepting stages of work to provide composite artwork utilizing Photoshop and/or Illustrator or other current software. May also assist in creating or editing charts, graphs, logos, etc.\n\nLeadership and Experience:\nIs a proponent for new efficiencies and techniques\n\nAssists in training freelancers and new employees.\n\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills.\n\nOpen communication with supervisor to share progress of work and design and communicates with art team.\n\nIs proactive in finding solutions for the project.\n\nKnowledge of agency functions or applicability of experience, previous design experience in digital and print.\n\nExcellent time management skills -Manages time wisely across jobs, meets agreed upon deadlines and is accountable and responsible for their work.\n\nRequired skills:\nBA of BFA degree in graphic design, interactive design, advertising or other design-related program\n\n5+ years of experience\n\nPharmaceutical advertising agency experience a plus\n\nMust be able to work flexible hours when needed\n\nQuick and proficient Macintosh skills on digital production software including: Adobe CC (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, XD), Adobe Acrobat, Sketch, Figma, Pre-Flight software\n\nKnowledge of Macintosh operating system\n\nCross-platform knowledge and working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel)\n\nAbility to conceive 3-dimensionally and ability to illustrate a plus\n\nDeadline driven, detail oriented, and organized\n\nContract Type :\nPermanentHere at Havas across the group we pride ourselves on being committed to offering equal opportunities to all potential employees and have zero tolerance for discrimination.
