You will work closely with development, security, and operations teams to automate infrastructure, improve deployment processes, enhance system reliability, and support continuous delivery initiatives.\nMajor Duties & Responsibilities:\nBuild, maintain, and enhance automated CI/CD pipelines to support efficient application delivery and deployment.\nUtilize tools such as GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, and Jenkins to streamline development and release processes.\nCollaborate with software development teams to improve deployment reliability and reduce manual effort.\nSupport the adoption of DevSecOps practices within software delivery pipelines.\nTroubleshoot deployment issues and assist in identifying process improvement opportunities.\nProvision, configure, and maintain cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles.\nDevelop and support infrastructure automation solutions using Terraform, PowerShell, Bash, and Python.\nAssist with maintaining Azure and AWS environments to ensure availability, reliability, and performance.\nParticipate in cloud platform upgrades, optimization efforts, and environment standardization activities.\nSupport disaster recovery, backup, and business continuity initiatives.\nSupport the implementation and maintenance of security best practices across cloud platforms and DevOps processes.\nAssist with vulnerability management, security monitoring, and remediation activities.\nContribute to meeting regulatory and compliance requirements, including OSFI guidelines and other applicable standards.\nParticipate in security reviews and support audit-related activities.\nAssist in improving security controls within CI/CD pipelines and cloud infrastructure.\nDeploy and support containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.\nAssist with the administration, maintenance, and monitoring of AKS and EKS environments.\nWork with development teams to support the adoption of containerization and Kubernetes best practices.\nMonitor container platform health and assist with troubleshooting operational issues.\nSupport initiatives that improve application scalability, resiliency, and performance.\nUtilize tools such as Azure Monitor, Microsoft Defender, AWS CloudWatch, Prometheus, and Grafana to improve operational visibility.\nMonitor infrastructure and application performance and assist in identifying potential issues before they impact customers.\nParticipate in on-call rotations, incident response, and service restoration activities as required.\nSupport reliability improvement initiatives and operational excellence efforts.\nParticipate in incident response activities and root cause analysis exercises.\nCollaborate with stakeholders to support the implementation of corrective and preventative actions.\nAssist with production releases, maintenance activities, and operational support tasks.\nDocument infrastructure configurations, standards, and recommended practices.\nContribute to internal knowledge bases and team documentation.\nShare technical knowledge and lessons learned with team members when appropriate.\nQualifications & Experience:\nDegrees, Diplomas & Certifications:\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.\nYears and Range of Experience Required to Perform the Job:\n3-5 years of hands-on experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, Systems Administration, Site Reliability Engineering, or related technical roles.\nExperience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or similar tools.\nHands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC), preferably using Terraform.\nExperience supporting cloud environments within Microsoft Azure and/or AWS.\nWorking knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes technologies.\nExperience with monitoring, logging, and alerting platforms.\nFamiliarity with security principles and compliance requirements within regulated environments.\nExperience using scripting languages such as PowerShell, Bash, or Python.\nStrong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.\nExperience working within Agile, Scrum, or Kanban delivery environments.\nWhile we thank everyone for their interest in Haventree Bank, please note that only candidates selected for an interview will be contacted.
