Location: Singapore
Contract: Casual / Freelance
Salary: Variable hourly rate / day rate
Start Date: September 2026
About the Role
Hawk-Eye Innovations is recruiting Football Technology Operators to join our Singapore team supporting the delivery of technology services across the Singapore Premier League.
This is an exciting opportunity to work at the forefront of sports technology and football officiating as part of a dynamic operational team.
Our casual operators support our services across a range of responsibilities, including the operation of our SMART Replay / VAR technology from the Singapore VAR Centre and the on-site setup and technical support of Hawk-Eye systems at stadiums across Singapore.
Depending on your experience, strengths and interests, successful applicants may initially focus more heavily on either VAR Replay operation or on-site technical support. Through the interview and training process, we will identify where individuals are best suited, with opportunities to develop across multiple areas of our operation over time.
We will provide comprehensive technical and operational training on Hawk-Eye systems and procedures. Previous experience with Hawk-Eye technology is not required.
This is a casual/freelance opportunity, with work predominantly scheduled around Singapore Premier League fixtures. Most shifts will take place on weekends, although weekday work may also be available. There may also be opportunities to support other Hawk-Eye services and events across Singapore and South East Asia.
What you could be doing
Depending on your allocated role and experience, responsibilities may include:
Setting up and preparing Hawk-Eye technology for matchday operation;
Conducting pre-match system checks in accordance with Hawk-Eye procedures;
Setting up and operating our SMART Replay system within the Singapore VAR Centre;
Working alongside match officials and responding to requests for replays, quickly identifying and delivering the best available camera angles to assist with key decisions;
Monitoring hardware and software performance throughout live matches;
Troubleshooting technical issues and working with local and remote Hawk-Eye teams to resolve them;
Supporting the setup of Hawk-Eye equipment at stadiums and other match locations;
Liaising professionally with Football Association of Singapore representatives, match officials, stadium and club personnel, host broadcasters and other stakeholders;
Taking ownership of Hawk-Eye systems during your allocated shift and acting as an ambassador for Hawk-Eye;
Completing post-match reporting and documenting technical or operational issues;
Assisting with the installation, maintenance and preparation of Hawk-Eye hardware and equipment where required;
Supporting equipment logistics and travel between match locations when required.
What we need from you
We are looking for people who are technically capable, dependable and comfortable working in a live sporting environment.
Ideally, you will have:

An interest in football and sports analysis, ideally with a good understanding of the rules of football and VAR;
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills;
The ability to remain calm and make good decisions in a high-pressure, procedural live environment;
A proactive and responsible attitude, with the ability to work independently and take ownership of your responsibilities;
Strong time management and organisational skills;
Clear and professional communication skills when working with clients, officials and other stakeholders;
A willingness to learn new technology and develop new skills;
Flexibility to work irregular hours, including weekends, evenings and occasional longer matchdays.
Experience working with replay/VT technology, live broadcast, event production or technical operations is desirable but not essential.
At Hawk-Eye Innovations, we value potential as much as previous experience. If you do not meet every criterion but believe you have the aptitude, attitude and desire to learn, we encourage you to apply.
