The ideal candidate should have deep expertise in MDM architecture, data modeling, master-data governance, golden records, match/merge, survivorship, source-system analysis, and source-to-target mapping. Since the MDM solution is being custom-built, the candidate must be capable of designing the underlying MDM data model and architecture rather than relying primarily on configuration of an existing MDM platform.\n\nKey Responsibilities :\n\n- Design scalable MDM data models based on business and data requirements.\n\n- Define entities, attributes, relationships, hierarchies, identifiers, and reference data.\n\n- Design golden-record, match/merge, survivorship, and source-of-truth strategies.\n\n- Analyze source systems and define source-to-target mappings into the MDM model.\n\n- Develop conceptual, logical, and physical data models.\n\n- Prepare detailed technical architecture and design documentation.\n\n- Translate business requirements into MDM architecture and underlying data structures.\n\n- Work closely with business, data, integration, and engineering teams to drive end-to-end MDM solution design.\n\n- Guide implementation of the designed model using Informatica MDM, Reltio, Profisee, or similar platforms, where applicable.\n\n- Define and defend MDM design decisions based on business requirements and data characteristics.\n\n- Support data governance, data quality, integration, and master-data management initiatives.\n\nMust-Have Skills :\n\n- Strong experience as an MDM / Data / Solution Architect.\n\n- Proven hands-on experience designing and building MDM data models from the ground up.\n\n- Strong understanding of :\n\n1. MDM Entities & Attributes\n\n2. Relationships & Hierarchies\n\n3. Golden Records\n\n4. Match & Merge\n\n5. Survivorship\n\n6. Source of Truth\n\n7. Data Governance\n\n8. Reference Data\n\n- Experience working with complex enterprise data and multiple source systems.\n\n- Strong expertise in data modeling, architecture, technical design, and stakeholder management.\n\n- Ability to explain and defend MDM architecture and data-modeling decisions.\n\n- Strong experience with source-system analysis and source-to-target mapping.\n\nPreferred Skills :\n\n- Experience with one or more of the following MDM platforms :\n\n1. Informatica MDM\n\n2. Reltio\n\n3. Profisee\n\n4. Stibo\n\n5. Ataccama\n\n6. Similar MDM technologies\n\n- Experience across master-data domains such as :\n\n1. Customer\n\n2. Product\n\n3. Supplier\n\n4. Organization\n\n5. Location\n\n6. Other enterprise master-data domains\n\n- Additional experience in data quality, data integration, enterprise data governance, and source-system analysis will be preferred.\n\nImportant Requirement :\n\nThis is a custom-built MDM solution. Therefore, candidates must have strong hands-on experience in designing and building the underlying MDM data model and architecture, not just configuring an existing MDM platform.
