Serves as the primary point of contact for customers and haulers entering the facility, ensuring smooth check-in and check-out process with maintaining accurate inventory control.\nESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:\nPerform equipment fueling and inspections upon request.\nPrepare equipment for sales/demo and staging.\nPerforms all yard functions including washing equipment and golf carts and installs/removes decals, EIN decals, and/or plates on equipment.\nResponsible for communicating inbound equipment statuses and conditions to achieve prompt sales invoices.\nAnticipates sales order needs such as bucket and work tool sizes and types.\nReceives, unpacks, and stores attachments, installs pins and marks with appropriate ID numbers.\nKeeps yard neat, clean, and organized. First line of communication on all yard traffic policies and adherence to speed limits.\nAssists sales department by communicating to customers all Hawthorne safety practices and requirements.\nAssists customers with needs such as unloading and unhitching equipment.\nAbility to learn how to operate equipment safely throughout the yard as needed.\nContributes to team effort by communicating actions, accomplishing related results as needed, and maintains a safe work environment.\nWill need to operate and understand CAT Inspect or other types of digital photo or inspection related programs.\nTools will be shared and provided by the company.\nOther duties as assigned by Supervisor.\nEDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:\nMust have High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.\nMust have a valid California Class \"C\" Driver's License with a clean driving record.\nMust be able to be Forklift and Scissor Lift Certified within 30 days of employment.\nAble to demonstrate high proficiency in computer/phone applications.\nMust have a mobile phone that can upload appliable apps and ability to take pictures.\nExcellent communication ability and high level of customer relation skills.\nAbility to multi-task.\nPHYSICAL DEMANDS:\nWalking: Moves about on foot often up and down stairs.\nHandling: Works with hands.\nLifting: Raises or lowers parts weighing up to 50lbs.
