You'll lead our hardware projects and engineers through the design process, from concept to manufacturing. Join us, and together, we will push the boundaries of what is possible in mobile perception and shape the future of technology.\nResponsibilities:\nLead electrical design of Edge AI products including but not limited to Automotive grade Edge AI computers and cameras while driving innovation and excellence.\n\nChampion collaboration cross functionally with mechanical, test, regulatory, manufacturing and installation teams by navigating the design from concept to launch.\n\nDevelop product specifications, design circuits, perform design reviews and improve design\n\nGenerate working prototypes for proof of concept and customer demonstrations\n\nLead hands on involvement with building, debugging, and maintaining product builds\n\nDevelop test plans and processes, execute testing and guide validation of new designs\n\nOwn the electrical design part of the Edge AI system projects, strive for performance and improvements, seek out opportunities to make things work better - it's about continuous improvement.\n\nEnsure deliverables for the project are on track and stays within project budget\n\nPartner with vendors and contract manufacturers to develop and manufacture electronic parts, modules and products\n\nWork with the cross functional teams to get products certified for compliance.\n\nLead and mentor electrical engineering team members, providing technical guidance, fostering professional development, supporting career growth, and ensuring high-quality execution across projects.\n\nQualifications:\nA bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or equivalent\n\n10+ years of work experience in related space with 4+ years of included management experience leading and managing design and test engineers\n\nExpert in collaborating and working cross functionally by influencing the decision making\n\nAbility to communicate job expectations, monitor and review job contributions of team members\n\nExperience building perception hardware like computers and cameras for installation in vehicles\n\nExperience in successfully delivering hardware products from concept to production\n\nExcelled in delivering the product per project time line and deliverables within the budget\n\nContributed to defining the product requirements, project time line and product costs\n\nVery good understanding of automotive product development and related specifications\n\nExpert on circuit design, schematic capture, pcb layout, system validation testing and related specifications\n\nHands-on with design and simulation tools like Orcad, Spice, Allegro and Altium\n\nHands-on with hardware lab equipments like high speed scopes, VNAs, Logic analyzers and like\n\nWorked with cross functional teams for system bring up, evaluation of AI processor platforms, cameras and telematics sensors\n\nWorked or has experience with high and low speed interfaces - PCIe, USB, HDMI/DP, UARTs, GMSL, LVDS, MIPI, I2C, SPI, Ethernet, CAN etc.,\n\nGood understanding of Imaging related components and design Camera, Image sensors, ISP, Optics selection and related interfaces\n\nWorking experience with GPS, 4G/LTE, 5G modem based design, WiFi, BLE and IOT devices, RF antenna selection and design their operation and implementation\n\nUnderstanding of regulatory testing and compliance needs for Americas and EU\n\nExperience with designing and compliance testing for ESD, EMI, UL, SAE, Automotive standards.\n\nKeen interest towards improving development processes, design documentation and team collaboration.\n\nStrong sense of leadership and teamwork, capable of designing, guiding and supporting a team of engineers to collectively achieve project goals.\n\nStrong problem-solving and innovation, with a hands-on approach to building and refining hardware products.
