The role ensures timely procurement at competitive prices while maintaining quality standards, compliance with specifications, and project schedules.\nResponsibilities:\nSource, evaluate, and select suppliers and subcontractors based on project requirements \nPrepare and manage purchase orders and contracts in accordance with company procedures \nConduct cost analysis, control budgets, and negotiate material prices with suppliers \nMonitor delivery schedules, lead times, and logistics to ensure timely project execution \nEvaluate supplier performance and ensure compliance with quality standards \nCoordinate with project teams to understand and fulfill material requirements \nMaintain vendor documentation, approvals, and ensure compliance with applicable standards \nManage inventory levels and monitor stock control to support project continuity\nCandidate Profile:\nBachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering or a related field.\nMinimum of five years’ experience in procurement within the civil construction industry.\nStrong knowledge of civil construction materials such as concrete, steel, aggregates, formwork, and finishing materials. \nExperienced in sourcing, evaluating, and selecting suppliers and subcontractors for civil works. \nSkilled in preparing and managing purchase orders, contracts, and procurement documentation. \nStrong experience in cost analysis, budget control, and negotiation of civil material rates. \nAbility to monitor delivery schedules, lead times, and site logistics to ensure uninterrupted construction progress. \nExperience in coordinating with site engineers, project managers, and QA/QC teams for material requirements. \nKnowledge of vendor management, approvals, and compliance with project specifications and standards. \nFamiliar with inventory control and stock management for civil construction materials. \nProficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook) and ERP systems (preferred).\nIf you think you have what it takes to be successful in this challenging role, please click on “Apply Now”.
