The ideal candidates should possess sound technical knowledge of civil engineering practices, practical experience in building construction, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced project environment.\nKey Responsibilities:\nAssist in supervising and coordinating daily civil construction activities to ensure work is carried out according to approved drawings, specifications, and project requirements. \nMonitor the quality of materials and workmanship, conduct site inspections, and ensure compliance with required construction standards and specifications. \nTrack daily site progress, coordinate with site supervisors and subcontractors, and assist in achieving project milestones and deadlines. \nReview construction drawings, identify discrepancies, coordinate with engineers and consultants, and assist in resolving technical issues encountered on site. \nMonitor the use of construction materials, labour, tools, and equipment to ensure efficient utilization and minimize wastage. \nMaintain daily site records, prepare progress reports, record measurements, and assist in preparing inspection requests and other project documentation.\nCandidate Profile:\nNDT, NDES, HNDE, or an equivalent technical or diploma-level qualification in Civil Engineering from a recognized institution.\nMinimum of three (03) years of total experience in building construction projects.\nSound knowledge of civil construction methods, building materials, construction practices, quality control procedures, and site supervision.\nAbility to read and interpret construction drawings, layouts, sections, and technical specifications.\nAbility to coordinate effectively with site engineers, supervisors, subcontractors, and other project personnel.\nAbility to maintain accurate site records, take measurements, prepare progress reports, and handle project-related documentation.\nGood analytical skills and the ability to identify site issues and report them promptly for resolution.\nGood interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively within a project team.\nSelf-motivated, responsible, detail-oriented, and capable of working under pressure to meet project deadlines.\nWillingness to work full-time at the District General Hospital project site in Kegalle.\nIf you think you have what it takes to be successful in this challenging role, please apply via email to  indicating the position applied for on the subject line of the email.
